Last month I finished reading The Cuckoo’s Egg by Cliff Stoll. It’s the true story of on of the first documented spy attempts through the Internet and other networks. Although it’s written in - and from the perspective of - the late 1980s, it is still relevant to today.
It’s a new month - and a new year! That means, with this post, I’ve been doing these book reading lists for five years.
It’s the last day of the year. And, has been since tradition since 2016, I’m posting my end-of-year income report.
About a month ago I decided to run a little experiment with tax loss harvesting: I was going to sell my shares of Microsoft at a loss and then rebuy them a month later, thus giving me the ability to claim the loss on my taxes next year.
After this blog status post, I will have been making these posts for five years.
